Toy Story 5
I don’t think I watched the first Toy Story in theaters; I probably watched it on VHS or DVD later when I started working in CG. Toy Story 2 reminds me of my time as a newlywed and the early days of my career in Korea, wondering if I could ever work in the US.
I remember seeing Toy Story 3 billboards while driving around with my child in the car, back when I was working at Disney, finally living and working in the US. I even watched it with my department at the El Capitan Theatre in Hollywood.
I watched Toy Story 4 after moving to DreamWorks, once I had officially started working in the animation industry. And last Saturday, as I was walking out after watching Toy Story 5 at a screening, all these past memories of Toy Story came flooding back, likely because of the movie’s storyline.
